I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Houston in 2007, followed by Master’s Degree from the University of Houston Clearlake in 2013.  For the last 10 years I have worked with adolescents and young adults.

I served as a director, counselor and recovery coach at Archway Academy, the largest sober high school in the United States.

As a person in long term recovery myself, I understand the pain, hopelessness and fear of having a life change.  When I was 17, my life forever changed when I decided to make that transformation.  I literally feared that a life without drugs and alcohol was no life at all.  That fear kept me from ever seeking help and kept me stuck a lot longer than I needed to.  It was with the help of family, friends and lots of counseling that landed me in the place I find myself today.  I met a counselor that understood me.  He understood my pain as a teen and didn’t discredit it.  The change wasn’t easy and the road wasn’t always smooth, but I wouldn’t change it one bit.

My passion ever since I became an adult has been to help adolescents and young adults who struggle with helping themselves.  I found out firsthand what the other side looks like, and I want you to experience it as well.
