Depression, Anxiety, Men’s Issues
Works with: Adults and teens
If you’re reading this, you might be considering change, and I can also appreciate how you might still be on the fence about therapy. Uncertainty and change can be anxiety provoking. Maybe you’ve been hurt in previous relationships or have had a negative experience with therapy.
Society teaches us to not talk about our feelings. Some of us are taught to sort through problems logically to find a reasonable solution or to push all struggles aside like they aren’t real. It can be difficult for us to be vulnerable and begin seeking help. Therapy can provide a safe place for you to begin sorting through your emotions and scripts. The confidentiality aspect of therapy can present a sense of comfort and ease anxiety.
Whether your challenges are related to relationships, hurtful experiences, or inner pain, together, we can unlock a new script and inner peace. I specialize in treating shame and self-sabotaging behavior, depression, and anxiety. I also have a passion for working with those in unique family situations, whether it’s those who have been forced into a caretaker role or having a family member with special needs. Our work together will entail gaining clarity on your wants, needs, and values. With extensive and ongoing multicultural training, I want to understand your history and pain so you can feel validated and move towards a meaningful life.
