What’s Important

Wellness is the goal! Enhancing wellness is a journey. It is so important to relieve the burdens that stress, indecision, anxiety, and depression place on us. Psychotherapy and Connection are tools that can help us. I take pride in the passion I have for getting to know you, and us finding ways to keep pushing through life. I hope people feel confident, less regretful, and more at ease with decisions they make.

About Me

I became a counselor to satisfy a calling to walk alongside people as we trudge through life. I have been counseling for over a decade, beginning as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and now a Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in History from Texas Tech University in 2013 and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2020.

I have spent most of my career working with a demographic that I care deeply about:
individuals and families conflicted with Substance Use Disorder. I spent 12 years working at Archway Academy, one of the largest recovery high schools in the nation. During that time, I served as Clinical Director, Director of Admissions, Educational Specialist, and Counselor. What a wonderful mission to have been a part of! Those young adults and their families mean a lot to me, and I enjoyed putting my all into the community.

My Journey

A lot of the mental health and wellness I experience today can be credited to the wonderful counseling services I accessed as a teen and young adult. Those services helped take me from some of the darkest times in my life to something much brighter. I am a husband and father to a daughter born in 2025. I’ve quickly realized my daughter does not care how many letters I have after my name! My wife and I care about our community and want to help ensure it’s inclusive, equitable, and safe.
