What’s Important

Wellness is the goal! It’s also a journey. Stress, indecision, anxiety, and depression are burdensome. Psychotherapy and connection are tools that can help us. I take pride in the passion I have for getting to know you, and us finding ways to navigate life. I hope people feel confident, less regretful, and more at ease with decisions they make.

About Me

I have been counseling for over a decade, starting as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and now a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I earned my Bachelor of Arts in History from Texas Tech University in 2013 and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2020.

I spent over a decade of my career working with a demographic that I care deeply about: individuals and families impacted by Substance Use Disorder (SUD). I worked at Archway Academy, one of the largest recovery high schools in the nation. During that time, I served as Clinical Director, Director of Admissions, Educational Specialist, and Counselor. What a wonderful mission to have been a part of! Those young adults and their families meant so much to me, and I enjoyed putting my all into the community.

A lot of the mental health and wellness I experience today can be credited to the wonderful counseling services I accessed as a teen and young adult. Those services helped take me from some of the darkest times in my life to something much brighter.

Family and Community

I am a husband to a supportive and patient partner. I am a father to a daughter born in 2025, and I’ve realized pretty quickly that she doesn’t care how many letters I have after my name! My wife and I care deeply about community and want to help ensure ours is inclusive, equitable, and safe.
