I view people as being separate from their problems. People are not the Problem; the Problem is the Problem. However, I acknowledge that there are moments where we might end up defining ourselves by our problems. “I’m meant to be alone”, “I’m just Bipolar”, or “I’m so OCD”. My goal is to explore these perceptions and assist my clients in discovering that their life is multi-layered and full of possibilities.
I enjoy working with adolescents, families, and individuals who have experienced “burnt out” with the therapeutic process. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and my two mini dachshunds.
I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Houston in 2013 and my Masters of Science Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2018. I’ve worked in the Mental Health field in the Greater Houston Area since 2015. In the past five years, I’ve gained a wealth of experience working in Psychiatric Hospitals, Partial Hospitalization Facilities, & Intensive Outpatient Clinics.
